All windows must be cleared by the homeowner / tenant before The Window Repair Company arriving on site. The Window Repair Company takes no responsibility for lost or damaged items should this not be done.
Blinds and curtains must be removed before The Window Repair Company arrive on site. The Window Repair Company take no responsibility for damaged or dirty curtains or blinds.
All pets must be locked away before The Window Repair Company arrive on site. The Window Repair Company reserve the right to refuse to enter properties with dogs or other animals loose.
The Window Repair Company will clean as best we can before leaving however it is recommended all areas be hoovered after we leave site.
Sometimes, while on site, The Window Repair Company may take pictures or film for social media/ advertisement.
We recommend to use Elbow Grease (the yellow bottle) to remove any handprints/grease/ Please Note: windows will only get as dirty as the top and bottom of sash it is advisable to wipe these before arrival to limit handprints.
If a job is cancelled within 24 Hours the callout charge will still apply.
All payments should be paid before staff leave site unless otherwise agreed.
In some cases with old aluminium windows, the glass can crack when doing repairs this will be charged at cost price.
For account customers any outstanding payments of more that 40 days the account will be frozen and no more works completed until payment is cleared.
For private customers that do not pay within 7 days outstanding balance will be passed over to our legal team.
When replacing glass very rarely, there can be minimal damage to the windows. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for this as it can happen due to the way the manufactures glue the beads.
On timber windows, when replacing glass, we do not fill and paint pin heads left from refitting the beads.
Any issues with the work should be reported within 24 hours e.g. broken glass or hinges.
